The Boss AW-3 is a Auto-wah and envelope filter pedal that is also capable of providing vowel like sounds with the “Humanizer” mode. Envelope filters can be set to go up or down and there is an additional “Sharp” setting for a more shrill and resonant filter. The tempo of the auto-wah can be set by tapping the pedal itself or with an additional footswitch. An expression pedal can also be attached to use the AW-3 as a conventional wah. Also features a separate input for bass.
