Boucher is a Canadian guitar maker located in the heart of the worlds largest Adirondack Spruce forest.   Boucher is currently the only Guitarmaker in the world using EXCLUSIVELY Adirondack Spruce for its tops.   Adirondack (or Red Spruce) is renowned for its power and projection, making it the top wood of choice for premium builders and may of your favourite pre war acoustics.  

The SG-51 starts with Master grade Adirondack top and premium Rosewood back and sides.  The top has forward shifted, hand scalloped braces for maximum response and clarity.  

We opted for the Intimate Concert pack as well.  Created for a specific purpose, the INTIMATE CONCERT PACK™  is very appropriate when the guitarist performs solo or in duo, or during performances in small concert halls. When played at a non-exaggerated volume, the K&K Pure Mini microphone avoids feedbacks while reproducing with great fidelity, the original sound of your acoustic guitar.

The instrument is powerful and amazing to play.  The neck is fast and feels like home.
