The Earthquaker Devices Afterneath is an “otherworldly reverberation machine” that combines the sound of a multitap delay with reverb to create anything from huge sounding ambient washes to short delays that fade in to hall like reverbs. The six knobs on the Afterneath are as follows: Length: decay of the reverb Diffuse: clearer reverb counterclockwise with more washed out sounds as you go up Dampen: acts as a tone control for the reverb. Brighter sounds as you turn up the knob Drag: controls the delay aspect of the pedal. lower settings has more defined repeats. Turn it up for individual repeats to become less defined and make more of a reverb sound. Reflect: acts as a feedback control. Higher settings will cause self oscillation. Mix: the blend of wet and dry signal. The Earthquaker Devices Afterneath is true bypass and can be powered by a standard 9 volt DC adaptor with 2.1mm negative center barrel. Current draw is 65 mA.
