The Earthquaker Devices Bit Commander is a “monophonic analog guitar synthesizer” which features four octaves of square wave tones. That means insane exploding NES style fuzz. Straight forward controls for the mix of the sub oscillator (two octaves down), down octave, up octave, and the original input. Also has “Filter” control to roll off some treble. Can be used for huge sounding octave guitar lines or for pure glitched out octave noise. Tracks best with the neck pickup and single notes above the 7th fret. Have fun!
The Earthquaker Devices Bit Commander is true bypass and can be powered by a standard 9 volt DC adaptor with 2.1mm negative center barrel. Current draw is 25 mA.
