The Earthquaker Devices Monarch is based on the input stage on an Orange Amp. A very versatile pedal with a lot of range in the gain section capable of providing a clean boost up to high gain natural sounding overdrive. Tons of volume on tap with and the bass and treble knobs provide powerful frequency boosts for a lot of tonal variety. The Earthquaker Devices Monarch is true bypass and can be powered by a standard 9 volt DC adaptor with 2.1mm negative center barrel. Can be run at up to 18 volts. Current draw is 3 mA.
