The Earthquaker Devices Tentacle is a clean octave effect taken from their popular Hoof Reaper pedal. It creates ring mod clanging tones that work great with fuzz for destructive exploding guitar sounds. There are no controls, just a set octave sound for adding overtones to your clean signal. The Earthquaker Devices Tentacle features true bypass switching and can be powered with a regular 9 volt ac adaptor. The new V2 Tentacle features a different enclosure with top mounted jacks and Flexi-Switching, allowing you to use either footswitch in either latching or momentary fashion.
