ERNIE BALL MUSIC MAN 30TH ANNIVERSARY STINGRAY 5

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Stingray 5 , first introduced to the world in 1987, MusicMan developed this Stingray which is a luxurious take on the classic Stingray 5 design.

Starting with looks, this bass is a serious eye catcher with the buttercream finish and red tortoiseshell pick guard. The roasted maple neck with white binding looks awesome and the wood pattern on the neck is insane.

With the electronics they did an exclusive design to the preamp which gives the bass a new distinctive sound. The pickups are equipped with ceramic magnets, which give the 30th Anniversary model a punchy and balanced tone that complements the revoiced preamp.
