The 2018 Stingray Special is a total redesign on a total Classic!   

The Special starts with a standard Roasted Maple neck for added tone and stability.   This model feature premium ebony fingerboard for snap and brightness. 

The Cruz Teal finish is stunningly applied and offset by the new, lighter black hardware and white guard.  The bass is over a pound lighter on average than previous models.   

The preamp has been totally redesigned in a new 18v format for massive lows, cleaner high's and even more of the Stingray sound its famous for.
