The American Elite series is the premier line in fenders catalogue. This PJ is a super versatile bass that has enough tweak-ability to work in any genre of music.
The blend feature is awesome for putting a little more punch into your precision sound or add a little roundness to your jazz sound. The 18v preamp allows you to switch the bass to active with the flip of a switch, think of it as a boost. Having 21 frets on this bass makes hitting the high E possible which is a common complaint amongst players. We really love the truss rod adjustment wheel, making working on the bass super easy.
