The Fender Custom Shop Event at Winter NAMM is our favourite event of the year. We get to hand select some amazing instruments and this year was our best yet! This instantly caught our eye and has ALL the things we love. Custom Colour, unique features, great playability and AMAZING tone. This instrument is a ’55 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic in Faded Candy Tangerine. The Body is lightweight ash. The incredible Faded Candy Tangerine finish is super thin and highlights some of the beautiful figure in the ash. The neck is a ’54 U shape. Very comfortable in the hand. Hand selecting beautiful guitars is easy. Finding a gem that sounds this good is a bit experience and a bit luck. This is the CLEAREST, most sparkling sounding Strat we have had. The hand wound ’55 pickups are the perfect output for a ‘50s style Strat. Surf, blues, country…any style can be covered with an instrument that sounds this clean.
