FENDER CUSTOM SHOP '55 TELECASTER, JOURNEYMAN RELIC - AGED WHITE BLONDE

We fell IN LOVE with this instrument at a 2020 Fender Premium Dealer event.  We couldn't get our hands on the display model so we had another one built especially for us!  It finally arrived and it might be the best Custom Shop Tele we have had yet.  

It starts with a gorgeous, light ash body finished in Aged White Blonde.  We opted for the Journeyman relic'ing to give it a touch of authentic looking wear and that 'broken in' feel!   Light, resonant and snappy. 

The neck is a VERY roasted 3A Flamed Maple!   Its deep caramel colour had us thinking it was a rosewood board when we first opened the case!   The neck shimmers in the light and the flame really pops when you move it around.   The neck has a heavy relic finish with all the finish removed from the back of the neck all the way up to the 12th fret!  The frets are Narrow Tall 6105's and the neck has a nice comfy '54 U shape.  It has 9.5" Radius and .900"-.990" taper.  

The pickups are a hand wound set of 55/56 Relics.   Its snappy on the bottom and throaty on top.  Just Tele perfection from start to finish!
