FENDER CUSTOM SHOP '64 TELECASTER RELIC LIMITED EDITION - AGED SHERWOOD GREEN METALLIC
Absolutely nothing gets us going like Fenders Custom Colours from the 60's!
We just received this '64 Telecaster in one of our all time faves, Aged Sherwood Green Metallic! This colour is impossible to get off your mind once you see it.
This Tele is a lightweight sorted Alder body with Maple neck and AAA dark rosewood fretboard. The finish is perfectly aged with juuuuust the right amount of Relic treatment. Its crackly nitro checks and subtle wear makes it feel like an old friend! They matched it up with tortoise guard and matching headstock! This is a fantastic look.
The tones are supplied by a Handwound set of '51 Nocaster pickups from the Custom Shop. 60's looks and fat '50's tones!
The neck is a 60 Oval C shape. 9.5" radius. Nice and slim from .825"-.945" at the 12th.
This one is a must see and includes Fender Case, strap, COA and Floor Traveller sheet!
