FENDER CUSTOM SHOP LIMITED 1955 STRATOCASTER RELIC - 2 TONE SUNBURST

Such a timeless, classic look!   This '55 Limited Relic just came in and blew us away when we opened the case. 

The body is lightweight ash with great figure and character.  The whole instrument vibrates on every strum.  Really focused and resonant.  Its finished in Nitro with a perfect 2 tone burst.  The transition is fantastic and really looks like some early 50s Strats we have had in the store.  The relic'ing is tasteful and 'accurate'.  

The neck is the real star here.  '54 U shape that really fill the hand but never feels 'too big'   Its got a 9.5" radius and 6105 Narrow/Tall frets.  It measures .900-.990".  Most of the finish is removed on the back, giving it that broken in, raw feel. 

The tones are supplied by a set of Handwound '55 pickups.  Clean for days.  Lush and bright. Adding some grit really makes this one pop.
