FENDER CUSTOM SHOP LIMITED EDITION ’51 HS TELECASTER SUPER HEAVY RELIC - AGED NATURAL

This beauty was the STAR of the 2020 NAMM Show Fender Custom Shop event.  

Its starts with a '51 Spec Telecaster (not a Nocaster) with a gorgeous 2-piece, off centre seam Ash body. Its finished in rare Aged Natural and then Super HEAVY Relic'd, front, back, top and bottom!  The guitar weighs 7.6 pounds and is incredibly resonant.  

The neck is rock solid one piece tinted maple.    The neck shape is a custom 10/56 V tapering from .940" to 9.70" at the 12 Fret and compound 7.25" - 9.5" radius.  The frets are a medium vintage size.   The neck is round and comfy in every position and flattens nicely as you go up the fretboard. 

The Pickups are a perfect match.  A Seymour Duncan Seth Lover in the neck and a Handwound 'Crushed Blackguard' in the bridge. 

This guitar is a an awesome 'Keef' style axe that can hit all the classic Stones rythyms and leads.  An ideal guitar for any blues/roots or classic rock style!
