FENDER CUSTOM SHOP LIMITED EDITION '62/'63 STRATOCASTER JOURNEYMAN RELIC FADED AGED 3 TONE SUNBURST

This Custom Shop Limited is a fascinating blend of specs and features from and amazing era of vintage guitar.  

It starts with a blazing set of Custom Shop hand-wound '60/'63 Strat® pickups.  Wound to the exact specs from these years.   Punchy and biting and very musical in every position.   It also features Vintage modified #2 wiring with tone-saver treble bleed gives the player ability to roll off volume without losing delicate highs.

The lightweight Alder body has the Journeyman Relic treatment.  This is our fave level of aging.  Just right.  Played, but loved for decades.  The tinted rift-sawn maple neck sports a '63 "C" profile, round-lam rosewood fingerboard, 7.25"-9.5" fingerboard radius and 21 medium vintage frets. 

We love the asthetic blend of the Faded, Aged 3 tone sunburst and the faded mint green pickguard.   The guard makes the whole guitar seem faded.
