The Fender Custom Shop Event at Winter NAMM is our favourite event of the year. We get to hand select some amazing instruments and this year was our best yet! This instantly caught our eye and has ALL the things we love. Custom Colour, unique features, great playability and AMAZING tone.
This NAMM Limited instrument is a 1964 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic in on of our FAVOURITE finishes, Aged Candy Tangerine! The body is Alder. The neck is perfectly Quarter Sawn Maple with a ‘round lam’ AAA rosewood fretboard.
The Neck is a ’63 Strat C shape. Small and comfy at the 1st position and thickens up toward the 12th. .820" -1.00". VERY playable. Comes with 6105 narrow/tall frets and 9.5" radius.
The tone comes from hand wound ’64 Custom Shop Strat pickups. The guitar is thick and beefy sounding and really fills the room with sound.
