FENDER CUSTOM SHOP MIKE MORALES APPRENTICE MASTERBUILT '58 TELECASTER - 3-COLOUR SUNBURST

We HAD to have this amazing Apprentice Masterbuilt Tele from the latest Fender Dealer event.    

We have always loved Apprentice built guitars.  Its a chance to grab an amazing guitar from a future legend!  We've had guitars from past Apprentices such as Dale Wilson and Carlos Lopez who both went on to become top builders at Fender Custom Shop and beyond.   

Mike Morales first caught our eye with the incredible Absinthe Strat from the Fender Cocktail Inspired Collection at the 2025 NAMM show so when we saw this Tele come up for grabs we had to pounce!   

It starts with a '58 ash Tele with incredible see through grain.   The guitar is super resonant and weights under 6.5 pounds!   The wood selection is unmatched as is the Relic'd 3 Colour Sunburst finish with perfect reds and the optimal amount of wear in all the right places.  The neck is 1 piece quarter sawn maple with impeccable fretwork, 9.5" radius, 6105 Frets and a '57 Style Soft V shape.

The tones are supplied by a pair of handwound '58 Tele pickups from Josefina Campos, the long time apprentice to Abigail Ybarra and now a Master pickup winder in her own right.
