GIBSON CUSTOM SHOP 1958 LES PAUL STANDARD REISSUE- BOURBON BURST VOS

 We have always felt the 1958 Reissue (R8) is Gibson Custom Shop’s best value. The R8 usually has a plainer top that '59 Reissues which helps keep the price lower. We selected this one so it is really dynamic.

The Bourbon Burst VOS finish really highlights the top.  The 'plaintop' is full of mineral streaks and has great character to the grain.  

The thicker, slightly U shaped R8 neck adds a ton of tone and is VERY playable. This guitar is very resonant and you can feel the chords ring throughout the body.
