GIBSON CUSTOM SHOP 1958 LES PAUL STANDARD REISSUE- LEMON BURST VOS

We have always felt the 1958 Reissue (R8) is Gibson Custom Shop’s best value. The R8 usually has a plainer top that '59 Reissues which helps keep the price lower. We selected this one so it is really dynamic.

The Lemon Burst VOS finish really highlights the top.  The top is flecked with gorgeous mineral streaks that really make this look 50's vintage.  A great number of 58's had little to no 'flame'.

The thicker, slightly U shaped R8 neck adds a ton of tone and is VERY playable. This guitar is very resonant and you can feel the chords ring throughout the body.
