GIBSON CUSTOM SHOP 58 PLAINTOP LES PAUL FADED TOBACCO SUNBURST

We recently got to travel to Nashville to tour Gibson’s factories and hand select some great pieces! This was the first guitar we grabbed at Gibson Custom Shop. We have always felt the 1958 Reissue is Gibson Custom Shop’s best value. This was selected and priced as a ‘plain top’ but we noticed a ton of gentle figure in the top. We also selected this due to the reasonable weight (R8’s are usually quite heavy. This one is a nice comfy 8.8 Pounds). With more and more Gibson Custom Shop R8 and R9’s coming VOS, we thought this Glossy finish would really stand out!
