GIBSON CUSTOM SHOP MURPHY LAB 1959 LES PAUL STANDARD ULTRA LIGHT AGED FACTORY BURST

We have been blown away with EVERY piece we've gotten from the Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab!   

It starts out with the timeless 1959 Les Paul Reissue.  The Murphy Lab steps up the historical accuracy to an unprecedented drgree, matching sunbursts, recreating the original plastic formulas and laser scanning every detail from vintage 'Bursts!

We loved the tight, concise flame on this one.   Gibson Custom Shop nailed it with this Factory Burst Finish.  The Ultra Light Aging is perfectly done.  From a few feet away it looks brand new, but as you move closer, the finish checking start revealing itself.

The guitar features Alnico 3 Custombuckers in both positions.  They are UN-potted and have the perfect Les Paul airy trebles and strong mid and lows.  

We couldn't be happier with this beauty!
