The K7YANG is Brian "Head" Welch's signature 7-string, an updated take on his original early-2000s collaboration with Ibanez. It has a matte white maple top and gold hardware. It's built on an RG-style body with a 5-piece maple/walnut Wizard II-7 neck, 25.5" scale, 24 jumbo frets on a rosewood fingerboard, and the K-7 inlay at the 12th fret.

Two DiMarzio Blaze humbuckers deliver a scooped-mid, high-output voice that stays tight under heavy gain and still cleans up well. A single volume and 3-way switch keep the controls simple. The Evertune bridge holds tuning through aggressive playing and drop tunings. Gotoh tuners and factory A-standard tuning make it ready to play.
