The Red Panda bitmap is a bitcrusher to get you lofi and distorted sounds. It features a mix control so you can dial in your clean tone for more subtle effects or to retain bass in your signal. It functions in two modes, crush mode and mod mode in which the controls differ slightly Controls -Level: master volume -Mix: clean blend -crush/rate: in crush mode this is the depth of the bitcrushing. From 24 down to 1 bit. From subtle lofi sounds to intense computer fuzz like tones. In mod this knob changes the modulation rate for the sampling rate. Waveform of the modulation can be changed with a toggle switch. -Freq: the sampling rate. Different settings create different overtones and harmonics -Mod/crush switch: changes modes -Hi/low switch: in crush mode in is a control for the input gain. Useful for switching between guitars with single coil and humbucking pickups or line level signals. Expiramenting is good with this control as different input gain levels can change the feel and sound of the bitcrushing. In mod mode it changes the waveform of the sampling rate modulation between triange, square, and random.
