SMALLSOUND BIGSOUND MINI JFET OVERDRIVE
The Smallsound Bigsound Mini is a JFET based overdrive. A smaller version of their popular “Fuck Overdrive” the mini has more streamlined and simple controls with added features and a smaller footprint. Great for guitar as well as bass and keyboard. The added bass to the circuit makes sure you won’t lose any low end.
It has five controls: Volume: overall volume. Gain: amount of distortion in the circuit. From clean sounding and sparkly to a fuzzy sounding overdrive across the sweep of the knob. Bias: allows you to dial in saggy, lo-fi, low wattage amp tones to chime-y hi-fi. Bass: a passive high pass filter that is pre-gain. Less bass means a cleaner signal. More bass means more saturated gain. Treble. controls the amount of treble. It is a passive low pass filter. The Smallsound Bigsound Mini is true bypass and can be powered by a standard 9 volt DC adaptor with 2.1mm negative center barrel. Current draw is around 12 mA.
