USED FENDER CUSTOM SHOP NOCASTER 'CUNETTO RELIC' WITH CASE AND COA
This is a rare and exceptional piece of Fender History! The earliest Relic’d guitars that Fender produced were actually done by a outside contractor initially. Vince Cunetto and Jay Black came up with the idea of simulating the aging process in 1994 and by the 1995 NAMM show Cunetto had produced a couple prototypes of Relic’d ’51 Nocasters.
By the Summer of that year, his factory in Missouri was producing 20 guitars a week and by May of ’96 production was moved to an even larger facility until relics was moved in house in 1999.
This particular Nocaster is from January of 1996 making it one of the instruments finished in the first Missouri facility and it is a gem.
Modern 9.5” radius and hotter Broadcaster pickups lend this guitar to fit all genres and styles.
The heavily figured neck is slimmer than the usual ‘fat’ nocaster, fits perfectly into the hand, and plays like a dream.
The vintage inaccuracies of “Cunetto Relics” make for a fantastic playing modern workhorse that nod’s at it’s vintage roots.
Includes original case and COA.
