USED FENDER HEAVY METAL STRAT WITH CASE
Regular price $975.00
Really awesome 80's Shred machine from Fender. The HM series was as the name suggests (HM stands for Heavy Metal), Fender's entry into the Age of Shred. The guitar appears to have been manufactured in Japan and assembled in the US. In the late 80's Fender was sold and the movement of the factory resulted in guitars being assembled in the USA with imported parts. Equipped with a Fender humbucker and a pair of single coils, all controlled by a 5-way switch. Also includes coil-tapping to split the bridge humbucker giving you all the straty tones and two humbucker options. Other features include Kahler Spyder double-locking tremolo (licensed by Floyd Rose), quality Gotoh tuners, side-mounted barrel output jack, Kahler locking nut, flat fretboard (17" radius) with 24 jumbo frets, and un-Fender like 25" scale. Guitar has cosmetic wear from heavy play but works 100%. Comes with an awesome vintage Peavey hardshell case.
