USED GIBSON ES-335 STUDIO - OWNED BY TOMMY HENRIKSEN OF ALICE COOPER/HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES
This was a cool find! Owned by Tommy Henriksen of Alice Cooper and the Hollywood Vampires, this axe started as a Gibson ES-335 Studio. A really cool and stripped down version of the classic 335, it featured one pickup and 2 knobs and a ton of attitude.
Tommy played this on countless stages With Alice and with Hollywood Vampires. He had it relic'd in LA somewhere in that period. There are many youtube live videos of this guitar in action!
It is very vibey and a killer player. The pickup is a Dimarzio Air Zone and the guitar has tons of snarl and is loud even unplugged. Very resonant. It is also sporting knobs that came off one of Johnny Depp's Duesenberg guitars.
