The SolidGold FX Formula 76 is a wild, over the top fuzz pedal with a penchant for screaming octave-up fuzztones. While capturing the same mid 70's fuzzy goodness of the old Superfuzz, the folks at SolidGold FX have improved on the original design by adding a footswitch instead of a toggle to change between those two very distinct voices. When the tone LED is illuminated, a pronounced midrange and warm top end make for haunting overtones and that classic octave up effect, while the LED off provides a super scooped fuzz that's ideal for holding down a fat rhythm. Increased output from an added gain stage also means the SolidGold FX Formula 76 will stay powerful no matter the setting.
