The Xotic AC plus is like two modified AC-boosters in one! It features two channels with different voicings and controls. Channel A has controls for gain, volume, and tone (attenuates mids and treble) as well as boost button for bass and mids. Channel B has controls for gain, volume, a three band EQ and a comp button for soft or hard clipping (hard clipping for more gain, soft for lighter gain and clean boost). Each channel has individual switching and there is a switch to change the order of the signal (Channel A into B or vice versa). The Xotic AC plus features true bypass switching and can be powered with a regular 9 volt ac adaptor. Current draw is 15 mA.
