We just received this GORGEOUS 1959 Gibson ES-335TD.
This is a single owner instrument in very good condition. It is all original other than a very well done refret and the bottom strap button.
The PAF's are SUPER clean, with original solders still in tact. All pots and caps are original as well. This thing sounds incredible. One volume knob is scratchy but thats it.
The bridge has been shaved down and the post moved back slightly. Holes are visible under the existing bridge.
The neck has been oversprayed on the back between the nut and body. This occurred decades ago and is tough to notice.
The machine heads have yellowed considerably and a couple have shrunk, which is standard for 50's Gibsons. We have put repro heads on and have included the originals in the case.
The case is not original as the original owner told me he didn't buy a case. Its a later 70's Gibson case.
This is a wonderful playing and sounding guitar and a real rarity.
