VINTAGE 1961 FENDER STRATOCASTER REFINISHED W/ CASE
If you've been after a player graded Vintage guitar, this might be the one!
This was a great local player's workhorse axe for decades. This 1961 Fender Stratocaster has seen it all! Its a vibey old guitar with excellent resonance tone and the comfy, slim '60's neck and Brazilian Rosewood fretboard we all dream about.
The neck still has its 6-61 pencil mark and the body has been refinished Black from its original sunburst finish.
Now lets talk changes. The machine heads have been replaced with Schaller's. The nut has been changed to 70's approved Brass.
The guitar has been refretted and could use another refret soon, unless you like the frets low.
The bridge and saddles have been replaced with what looks like a Schaller bridge.
The neck and middle pickups are original, as is the tone cap. The switch has been replaced with a 5-way and the pots and bridge pickup are replaced. The bridge pickup appears to be a 70's Fender pickup. It sounds great in every position.
The case is not original. The guitar weighs 7.05 pounds.
