VINTAGE 1981 FENDER BULLET TELECASTER WITH GIGBAG

Regular price $749.00

The Fender Bullet originally designed by John Page and was first introduced to replace the outgoing Mustangs and Musicmasters.

he original bodies were designed to resemble a smaller and thinner version of the Telecaster. The necks were Telecaster necks. The dual pickups were Mustang pickups which were positioned like the Duo Sonic.

It comprised a single cutaway Telecaster-shaped body with a 21 fret rosewood neck and Telecaster-style headstock.  It featured a metal pickguard-bridge combo painted white or black, with separate saddles for each string.

Both models had 2 single coil pickups with a three-way selector switch. The pickups were covered with a white or black plastic sheathing. The original Fender Bullet was only available in red (with a white or black pick guard) and off-white (cream).

This one has had the original pick guard chromed at some point.  Its quite well done!  Its also got a Duncan Quarter Pound pickup added in the middle position wit a switch, really enhancing the versatility.  The knobs had also been swapped to match the chromed out look.

This is a rare US built instrument at an unreal price!  Includes non original gigbag.
