VINTAGE AMPEG SBT PREAMP W/2X15 POWERED CABINETS

The Ampeg SBT Pre-amp is a rare beast, it was basically Ampegs answer to The Acoustic 360 used by Jaco and John Paul Jones. The design was important in the late sixties and early 70's, when you needed massive stage volume. A solid state preamp drives a pair of Powered 2x15 cabinets delivering 240 watts R.M.S

Classic Ampeg controls with Volume, Treble, Bass, Selective Midrange cut or boost, Ultra Hi, 3-way Ultra Lo, and Midrange frequency controls.

This unit is sold with 2 preamp heads (one as a backup/parts head, both work) and 2 powered cabinets. It could be run as 2 separate rigs but sounds amazing when run with the pair.
