VINTAGE 1957 FENDER STRATOCASTER- ALL ORIGINAL, W/ ORIGINAL TWEED CASE
This gorgeous 1957 Fender Stratocaster is in remarkable condition. Purchased new in 1957 then passed down to the original owners son in the late 80's, this has sat unplayed for almost 30 years.
The instrument is all original. The neck is dated 10-57 and the body 9-57. There is a bit of expected forearm wear on body but is in fantastic condition. It weighs 7.6 pounds.
The solders have never been touched and the pickups are very clear and pristine sounding. There is no crackling in the pots or 3-way switch. The pickups measure 5.7K (Neck) 6.00k (Middle) 6.45k (Bridge)
The frets have a lot of life and the instrument is extremely playable.
The guitar includes original lacquered tweed hardshell case with red interior. Inside are the original tremolo arm and bridge cover. Also included are the original polish cloth and sealed, unopened case key envelope with key inside.
We have seldom seen vintage Strats in this condition and with so many original accessories. This is a stunning example of a classic moment in guitar history.
