The Univox Noise Clamp was designed primarily for the elimination of extraneous noise and hiss.

This feat is accomplished by adjusting the Threshold control to clamp out all noise when the instrument is not played. The EX-110 automatically processes your instrument's output signal to a low impedance source which can operate into any conventional amplifier, studio mixer or sound reinforcement system.
