WAMPLER FAUX TAPE ECHO (WITH TAP TEMPO) V2
The Wampler Faux Tape V2 Echo is a a digital tape delay emulation made with the PT2399 chip. You get about 800 ms of tape voiced delay to go from slapback to long Brian May delays to ambient washes. Delay time can be controlled via the tap tempo switch for delay time changes on the fly and of course repeats can be coerced into self oscillation.
The modulation provides you with lush sounding flutter and wow heard in old tape units and will thicken up your sound and the tone control will let you darken or brighten the repeats to make your tone right for the situation.
The V2 features subdivision for your tap tempo with 1/4, 1/8/, dotted 1/8, and triplet.
The Wampler Faux Tape Echo V2 is true bypass and can be powered by a standard 9 volt DC adaptor with 2.1mm negative center barrel. Current draw is 40 mA.
