The Warm Audio Warm Bender accurately recreates two of the most famous British fuzz tones of all time, plus a bonus modern silicon circuit. Based on one of the original “MKI” Tone Bender circuits, Warm Bender’s NOS 76 setting brings a cutting, present tone to the front of any band. The NOS 75 setting delivers that iconic “Mark II Professional” Bender-style fuzz tone lauded by all the Riff-Lords of the 60s & 70s. Warm Bender is made with 100% through-hole construction using NOS Germanium transistors (for NOS 75 & NOS 76 settings) and an added SAG control that starves the voltage. Choose between the NOS 76 setting for cutting, present tone, the NOS 75 setting for added bass and warm fuzz, or a proprietary silicon 3-transistor topology circuit for a more modern distortion-like take on this legendary flavor of fuzz. The added SAG control starves the voltage to create that “dying battery” tone with added touch-sensitivity and compression.
